The RAM T4E HDX .68 shotgun is a novelty among products for shooting training and self-defense. The design is reminiscent of smoothbore shotguns used by the services. The pistol grip reminiscent of the AR15, the discharge device and the frame flask add to the tactical character.
The product has been very solidly manufactured. The bed, pistol grip and flask are made of strong polymer, while the barrel, breech chamber, tubular magazine, trigger mechanism, sights and discharge device are made of metal.
The shotgun is powered by two 12g CO2 capsules inserted into an adapter located under the butt. A big advantage is the ability to have the shotgun ready to fire at all times, as the capsules are not punctured after insertion. When you need to use it, hit the button located at the end of the flask. You can also mount a large 88g CO2 capsule in place of the adapter.
The shotgun is equipped with a tubular magazine for 16 .68 caliber bullets, and you can load rubber, rubber-metal, powder or pepper bullets as needed. Before each shot, it must be reloaded using the pump-action system shuttle. Loading bullets into the tubular magazine is facilitated by a special device included in the equipment.
The rifle is equipped with adjustable sighting instruments: a fiber optic bow tie and adjustable sights. A dorsal 22mm Picatinny rail is used to mount a collimator or other sight. There is an M-Lok mounting system on the bed, allowing the attachment of a flashlight or laser.A sawed-off safety located next to the trigger protects against uncontrolled firing.
