Silencer cleaner 500 ml (Ballistol)

Muffler Cleaner 500 ml (Ballistol) is a professional muffler cleaner that effectively dissolves and neutralises burnt gunpowder residues. The agent is particularly recommended for silencers with a non-expanding design.

Even the best suppressor will clog up after a while, increasing friction and slowing down the bullet fired. Regular maintenance of the compressor is the best way to ensure optimal performance. The problem arises when the silencer is of an integral design, which obviously makes it difficult to access narrow parts. In such a situation, it’s worth using Ballistol’s professional muffler cleaner, which effectively dissolves, removes and rinses away any impurities left behind. The preparation does not contain acids, is odourless, neutral to most materials, surfactant free.

How to use Ballistol Muffler Cleaner?
Mufflers with open construction – after dismantling the muffler, its components are immersed in a cleaning agent and left for about 2 hours (normal dirt). After this time, we remove the dirt with a soft brush and water. The Ballistol silencer can also be used for ultrasonic cleaning.

Silencers of non-sealing construction -clamp one side of the silencer tightly (e.g. with an ear-dropper), then fill with Ballistool cleaner and leave for 2 hours. Ordinary dirt dissolves after about 2 hours. After this time, remove the silencer from the silencer, fill it half full with warm water, reconnect the plugs and shake vigorously. After cleaning, it is recommended to use a muffler surface cleaner. If our silencer is heavily soiled, it can be heated up to 40 °C before application and left in the silencer for a longer period, for example 4 to 8 hours. For extremely dirty silencers, the service life can be extended up to 24 hours.

Note: Check the reaction of the cleaner with the silencer material in an inconspicuous place before applying the cleaner correctly. Discolouration of the cleaning product is a normal phenomenon, indicating that the dirt has dissolved and neutralised.
