The Silky F180-14 is a compact folding saw weighing only 150 g, designed for dry seasoned wood.

The Silky F180 series is a versatile, extremely lightweight and easy-to-handle wood saw that is perfect for field work, gardening and domestic gardening.

The blade of the Silky F180 saw is laser-cut from high carbon steel, which is very flexible and highly resistant to blunting. The surface of the blade is chrome-plated to protect against corrosion, wood sap and the damaging effects of weathering.

Silky saws feature an advanced tooth design and “upside-down” sawing technique for maximum comfort and minimum energy consumption. To increase efficiency, the sharp teeth are ground in as many as four planes. Importantly, only the edges of the teeth are induction hardened, so the rest of the blade is soft and flexible, preventing the saw from breaking during use or misuse.

The cutting part is shaped like a tiger bell, so the blade doesn’t lock during cutting like most saws on the market. This special tooth profile not only eliminates cutting resistance, but also gives an extremely smooth wood surface after cutting, with no burrs or jagged edges.

The Silky F180 hand saw is equipped with a 180 mm blade with 14 teeth per 30 mm blade. This blade is best suited for sawing dry, seasoned wood.

The saw is collapsible so that aggressive teeth are safely inside the handle. The locking mechanism allows the blade to be locked in two different positions, depending on the situation and working conditions.

The F180 uses a polypropylene handle with rubber inserts that dampen vibrations and ensure a good grip.
