FX Impact M4 Standard Copper is the fourth generation of what has become one of FX Airguns\u2019 most successful all-round PCP platforms. Built around an ultra-accurate, modular and highly adjustable design, it is suitable for virtually every shooting discipline, from benchrest to demanding field use. Compared with the Impact M3, the M4 introduces both major and subtle improvements that increase rigidity, consistency and usability. The former Dual Regulator system has been replaced by a single AMP MKIII regulator with a brass piston, offering greater strength, improved consistency and higher refill flow while handling working pressures up to 170 bar; the cylinder fill pressure remains 250 bar. With its 480 cc air cylinder, 75 cc Power Plenum 750 and Superior STX barrel system, the rifle has ample air volume and power reserve for both pellets and heavy slugs. It is available in 4.5 mm (.177), 5.5 mm (.22), 6.35 mm (.25), 7.62 mm (.30) and 9 mm (.35), with energy levels of up to 47, 60, 85, 130 or 150 J depending on calibre and configuration. <\/p>\n
The FX Impact M4 Standard Copper is built for shooters who want precise control over nearly every aspect of performance. The regulator is adjusted with a screw behind the trigger inside the trigger guard, the valve spring preload is controlled by the front power knob, and the hammer spring preload is set through the Quick Tune system, with 16 macro steps followed by fine micro-adjustment. The new Quick Set Trigger allows the shooter to switch from a predictable longer pull for field use to a feather-light sport trigger with a crisp, glass-like break by adjusting a single screw; the whole trigger unit can also be repositioned, and both stages, blade height and blade rotation are adjustable. The reinforced top plate is thicker and now includes a Dovetail rail that allows the 30 MOA Picatinny rail to be moved exactly where needed, giving more mounting freedom and a wider riflescope adjustment range for long-distance shooting. Additional Picatinny accessory rails are placed on both sides and underneath for accessories such as a bipod. The rifle also features a reversible side-lever cocking system, height-adjustable shoulder piece, ergonomic AR15-style UG1 grip and a renewed high-capacity magazine made from stronger materials.
