FENIX LR50R

The Fenix LR50R is a serious and compact superlamp. Designed for a variety of search and rescue tasks for professionals. At just 163mm long, it has a maximum luminous intensity of 12,000 lumens and a beam range of 950 metres. The light pattern is well balanced, illuminating objects both far away and close up. A total of six luminous intensities are available: max.12000lm, max.6000lm, max.3000lm, 1000lm, 350lm, 50lm. The user interface is extremely simple. There are two stainless steel switches on the side of the lamp, which can be used to switch the lamp on and off and to change the intensity. In addition to the standard modes, the LR50R also has a hidden strobe and SOS mode. The LR50R is the first high-end lamp from a manufacturer to use four new-generation high-capacity 21700 Li-ion batteries. The lamp comes with a battery pack based on 21700 batteries with a total capacity of 16000mAh. If required, the lamp can also be used with four standard high capacity Type 21700 Li-ion batteries, or even three, two or just one Type 21700 Li-ion battery in an emergency. The LR50R can be charged without removing the battery pack from the lamp. To do this, a waterproof and weatherproof USB-C fast charging port (max.4A charging current) is integrated on the side of the lamp. The fast charging feature allows you to charge the standard LR50R 16000mAh battery pack in just 4 hours, with sufficient power. As an additional feature, the LR50R 16000mAh battery pack can also be used as a battery bank via the charging port. The maximum output current is already up to 2.5 amps. Everything needed to charge the lamp and use it as a battery bank is included in the complete lamp kit. The LR50R is an extremely high luminous intensity lamp, whose light output at maximum mode can ignite nearby objects/objects. To avoid this situation, the LR50R is equipped with a sensor that detects objects close to the reflector of the lamp (closer than 6cm) and automatically reduces the light intensity to avoid the risk of ignition or overheating (if the proximity of the object is detected within approximately 1.5 seconds). When the danger to adjacent objects is no longer detected, the lamp automatically resets to its original intensity. Of course, the LR50R doesn’t lack all the extras and features of a modern quality torch. For example, the lamp features a multi-stage power supply battery level indicator, overheat protection that follows the lamp’s operating temperature (active at the lamp’s four highest light intensities), electronic accidental switch-on protection, tripod mount, shoulder strap, anti-reflective optics lens, etc. Of course, the LR50R has a maximum protection class of IP68 2m, a tested shock resistance of 1m and is designed to operate at operating temperatures between -35…+45 degrees C.
