The Cyansky K3-I8 is a high-performance 850nm tactical infrared lamp based on the K3 model. Designed for use in support of (night) observation equipment, both stand-alone and mounted on a weapon. The light source for the Cyansky K3-I8 is an Osram 5000mW 850nm IR LED element. Combined with a smooth-faced parabolic reflector, the small footprint and high power IR element provides a maximum operating range of up to 350 metres. The figure has a specific and well-defined concentrated centre. Only one (max.5000mW) operating mode is available, which can be switched on via the tactical switch on the back of the lamp. The K3-I8 is a compact lamp with a length of 148.6mm, a head diameter of 40mm, a battery tube diameter of 25.4mm and a weight of 120g without power supply. The lamp itself is made of aluminium and coated with a high quality anodised finish. The power source is a new generation high-capacity type 21700 Li-ion battery. It’s a standard 5000mAh battery, equipped with a USB-C charging port. To recharge the lamp battery, remove it from the lamp, connect it to a USB power source using the supplied cable and the battery will take care of the rest. When the battery is fully charged, an indicator light will show. Insert the charged battery into the lamp and the K3-I8 is ready to use. The Cyansky K3-I8 is tested to the international ANSI FL1 torch testing standard, is tested for water and shock resistance and has a maximum protection rating of IPX8. In addition to the lamp, the complete lamp kit includes a new generation Type 21700 Li-ion battery (5000mAh), charging cable, wrist strap, lightweight belt clip, pocket clip, user manual and spare ring grommets and switches. By virtue of its design and intended use, the Cyansky K3-I8 can be used as a weapon flashlight and will fit easily into a variety of weapon mounts designed for flashlights with a 1″ (25.4mm) body diameter.
