FENIX LR80R

The Fenix LR80R is the flagship of Fenix professional searchlights. It is a multi-functional light bulb, suitable for both land and sea, for close work and for illuminating very distant objects. The LR80R has a maximum protection class of IP68 and has been tested to withstand water at a depth of 2 metres for 4 hours. The lamp has a maximum luminous intensity of 18,000 lumens, a maximum illuminated area of 1,130 metres (1.13km) and can ideally illuminate an area of 5.9 hectares (more than 8 standard-sized football pitches). The lamp is powered by a 7.2V Li-ion battery pack with a capacity of 12000mAh, integrated in the handle (the battery pack is interchangeable). The battery pack is rechargeable without removing the lamp using the USB-C power adapter included in the kit. It’s a 45W fast-charging adapter that charges the LR80R battery in just four hours. If you don’t have a fast charging adapter handy, you can also charge the lamp via the standard USB socket. In addition, the battery pack has a separate USB-A socket through which it acts as a battery bank. A large battery pack allows the lamp to operate for up to 300 hours continuously (at 50 lumens, providing a beam range of up to 50 metres). The lamp has been made as easy as possible to use with two stainless steel switches on the front. One is used to control the lower intensities of the lamp (50-1000lm), the other to control the higher intensities (3000-18000). The maximum luminous intensity of the LR80R is so high that the heat emitted from the lamp can ignite combustible materials. To this end, the LR80R reflector has an integrated user-safety sensor that automatically reduces (and later increases) the luminous intensity of the lamp if it gets too close to another body (less than 6cm). In addition to the lamp, charging accessories and shoulder strap, the LR80R also comes with a detachable handle for easy carrying and a standard tripod mount. For ease of operation, the LR80R is equipped with a battery level indicator, a battery charge indicator and a lamp lock mode to prevent unintentional activation.
