FX Crown MKII Synthetic

FX Crown MKII Synthetic is the successor to the original FX Crown, offering increased power, precision and tuning flexibility. Compared with the previous generation, it features a 28% larger plenum, a larger 6.5 mm valve and optimised air passages, resulting in significantly improved performance. This sporty PCP air rifle is equipped with a 20 MOA Weaver/Picatinny rail, giving the riflescope a more usable elevation range when shooting at longer distances. The model is available in 4.5 mm (.177), 5.5 mm (.22), 6.35 mm (.25) and 7.62 mm (.30), with energy levels of up to 40, 60 or 105 J depending on calibre and tuning. Its 480 cc carbon-fibre air cylinder can be filled to 250 bar, while the regulated PCP system helps provide stable and consistent shot behaviour.

As expected from FX, the Crown MKII Synthetic can be adjusted extensively to match the chosen calibre and ammunition. It features an externally adjustable AMP regulator, an adjustable valve and the well-known power adjustment wheel, allowing both macro and micro adjustments to the hammer spring preload. The Superlight STX, or Smooth Twist X, barrel system uses interchangeable liners, making it quick and easy to change twist rate and even calibre; the rifling is pressed in from the outside, creating a very smooth, low-friction bore with tight tolerances. The refined FX Match trigger is also highly adjustable, with control over the length and partially the weight of the first stage, as well as the length and weight of the second stage, allowing for a very light trigger pull, even below 500 grams. The maintenance-free ambidextrous synthetic stock has an ergonomic thumbhole design, raised cheek piece and adjustable soft rubber buttpad for a precise fit. The rifle weighs 2812 g, has a 600 mm barrel and an overall length of 1022 mm; it has no open sights, a riflescope is not included, and the package contains a case, fill probe and magazine.
