FX DRS Pro MDT 700

FX DRS Pro MDT 700 is a powerful PCP air rifle with contemporary styling, built specifically for precision long-distance shooting and PRS-style slug use. The first thing that stands out is its low-profile design: there is no conventional air cylinder under the barrel, as the 307 cc air reservoir is mounted around the barrel as a shroud. This gives the rifle clean, minimalist lines, makes it easier to transport and store, and helps support a more stable shooting stance. The model uses a regulated PCP system with a 230 bar fill pressure and is available in 4.5 mm (.177), 5.5 mm (.22) and 6.35 mm (.25), with energy levels of up to 56, 98 or 113 J depending on calibre and tuning. Its 700 mm Superior STX barrel system features a removable liner with rifling pressed in from the outside, creating a smooth, low-friction bore with excellent sealing around the slug.

The defining feature of the FX DRS Pro MDT 700 is the MDT ACC Elite aluminium chassis, redesigned by MDT specifically for the FX DRS Pro platform. It is light, very stiff and focused on repeatable positioning for competition shooting. Balance has been carefully considered, with the barricade block shifted further back than usual to give the rifle an impressive base balance. The MDT Premiere GEN2 buttstock is also machined from lightweight aluminium and offers length adjustment as well as a height-adjustable cheekpiece. Internally, the rifle features an externally adjustable MkII AMP regulator, adjustable hammer spring preload, a 63 cc SHP plenum and a Slug Power kit consisting of a slug probe and heavier hammer weight. The fully adjustable match-grade trigger allows both stages to be tuned, while the trigger blade can be adjusted for distance, height and rotation; the break is crisp and the pull weight can be set very light. As standard, the rifle comes with a mini magazine and a low 30 MOA Weaver/Picatinny rail, while M-LOK slots in the chassis allow optional weights to be added for fine balance tuning. It weighs 3500 g, has an adjustable overall length of 1115–1141 mm and includes no open sights or riflescope; the package contains a case, fill probe and magazine.
